# Select Sensors

The main advantage of a legged system is its ability to carry payloads on uneven terrain. Therefore, we have focused on developing a highly modular system with a payload capacity to scope with any type of sensor. Unlike other systems, you can change towards all sides and through the core of the robot.

With following three steps you are able to integrate any sensor:

1. Sensor Selection: Define your sensor for the mission
2. Assembly with adapter bracket carrier
3. Add to bysense and install cables

We classify the payload by its location of installation, Front & Back, Core and Feet.

## Sensors Selection

Select in the first step your sensors you want to bring to walk.

## Other Payload Selection for Sensing

To cover a wider range of applications and use cases with bysense you have the possibility to integrate

## Adapter Bracket Selection

To scope with any sensor you have following options to select the right bracket for you:

* Take a existing adapter bracket
* Download one of the brackets and print it
* Design your own bracket for your desired application

Based on your sensor and bracket selection you can continue with the installation

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://bywerks.gitbook.io/bysense/mission-preparation/select-sensors.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
